• T.E. Lawrence's second major work, The Mint, has been out of print in the UK for some years.
• This paperback reprints the unexpurgated text first published in 1955.
• Jeremy Wilson wrote a foreword to the edition published in 1978 in the 'Penguin Modern Classics' series. His introduction to this new edition draws on a wide knowledge of Lawrence's correspondence of the period.
